&then was founded in 2023 by Jodi Goldstein and Brent Kleiman who met their first day of business school and have known each other over 25 years.
Though they pursued separate career paths, they often bonded over their shared passion for connecting people. Through her work at the Harvard Innovation Lab, Jodi saw the power of a diverse community & serendipity to bring people together to solve problems. Meanwhile, Brent in his human capital advisory work, met many accomplished leaders struggling to find alternatives to their current paths driven by personal fulfillment and impact.
Through serendipity of their own and the goal of uniting like-minded leaders with diverse perspectives and shared values, Jodi and Brent joined forces to explore a new definition of community.
As the pandemic left us more isolated than ever, with a renewed interest in aligning purpose and passion – Jodi & Brent began having conversations with others who were looking for something new, something more, something different – a redefinition of what comes next with a more balanced holistic lens. They realized these successful leaders were not ready to retire but were eager to forge a new path, towards growth and impact and wanted to align with others looking to do the same.
